RBI Assistant Recruitment 2014 is a good opportunity for all those looking for Clerical Level Jobs in Banks. RBI Recruitment for Assistants is a country wide recruitment being done by IBPS on behalf of RBI.

RBI Recruitment 2014 : Vacancy Details




Reserve Bank of India, invites online applications from eligible Indians for the Post of Assistants (Clerks) for its Offices located across the length and breadth of country.

  • Dates for Online Registration: 16th July to 6th August, 2014
  • Dates for Payment of Application fees: 16th to 11th July (Online) and 18th to 11th July (Offline)
  • Date of Written Exam (Online Test) : Expected in the Last week of Sept, 2014

Pay-Scale: Appointees will be paid Monthly Salary as per the Pay-Scale of Rs 8040 to Rs 20,100 (Plus Allowances)



Who can apply for Assistant Jobs in RBI ?


Applicants desirous of seeking Jobs in the prestigious Bank, must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility conditions.


  • Applicant must be a Citizen of India
  • Applicant must be Aged in between 18 to 28 years (As on 1st July, 2014). Age Relaxation will be SC/ST (+5 years), OBC (+3 years), PWD (+10 years). For other Age related Details, refer the Notification
  • Applicants must have completed Degree with 50% marks (Pass for SC/ST/PWD Candidates)in any discipline
  • Applicant must be well versed with the knowledge of Computers
  • Applicant must be fluent (Read, Write and Speak) in the Local Language of the State (City) for which they are applying.

Mode of Selection


 Recruitment of Assistants in RBI comprises of Written Test (Online) and followed by Interview. The Online test is likely to be held in the month of Sept, 2014. Below is given the scheme of Written test



1) Candidates will have to pass in each of the Objective tests separately
2) 0.25 Marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer

Final Selection: The Final Selection will be done based on the Candidates performance in the Written test and Interview taken together.



How to Apply ?

Remember, candidates can apply only through the Online Mode. The Online Registration, will start from 16th July and will end on 6th August, 2014.

Application Fees: General and OBC Candidates need to pay Rs 450/-  as application fees while SC/ST/PWD/EXS. will have to pay only Rs 50/- as Intimation charges.

Note: You can pay the Application fees either through Online Mode Or through Offline Mode. In Online Mode, you make the Payment by using the Net Banking / Credit Card/ Debit Card etc. While in Offline Mode you can make the payment by using system Generated Challan form.

Online Application: As mentioned above, only online application is accepted. Therefore, applicants need to submit their application online at the RBI Official Website. Applicants are required to have an Email ID, Scanned Photo and Signature and Mobile No, before online registration.

Steps for Submitting the Online application


1) Log on to the RBI Official Website @ www.rbi.org.in
2) On the Home page, click on the link titled as "Recruitment for the post of Assistant"
3) Then, you will see the online registration form. 
4) Now fill all the required Details, by following the on-Screen Instructions
5) Finally, click on the Submit Button to Submit the Application

Once, you submit the Application form the system will generate a Registration Id and Password, that must be preserved for future usage. You can also take the print out of the System Generated Application form,
